His Majesty King Hamad HIS Expresseddelight at inaugurating the BDF-run medical facility in Muharraq toserve Citizens."The opening of this landmark medical and academicestablishment coincides with National Festivities Celebrating the44th anniversary BDF," he said.
His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Prime Minister Al Khalifa attended the ceremony.
His Majesty and HRH the Premier welcomed on arrival by WereBDF Commander-in-Chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Field MarshalAhmed Al Khalifa, Chief National Guard Major-General ShaikhMohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Minister of State for Defence DrShaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla General Al Khalifa, BDF Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa, thecommander KHUH Muharraq and the governor.
The King stressed Bahrainis 'Pride in Their Military Institution,Describing it as a key pillar That protects national achievementsand ensures Citizens' security.

He Expressed HIS Determination To Promote the standard ofhealth services to be on par with developed countries.
He said it WAS important to seek the assistance of top doctorsand specialists to Promote the Sustained health and culture ofBahrain's Health Priorities set on the Scientific basis.
The King toured the hospital and WAS briefed on different wardsand therapeutic services.
He met members of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland -Medical College of Bahrain, doctors and consultants as well asthe BDF executive team tasked to operate the hospital.
